July 6th is National Kissin’ Day! Pucker up Peeps!

Well, who knew there was actually a day dedicated to one of my fave past times. Seriously… For real, I LOVE kissing and I am told I’m bloody good at it. “Blows on fingernails”  😊 Nothing compares to long, slow, teasing kisses.
While researching for National Kissing Day, I came across some interesting information from various sources and although there isn’t really any “true” double blind science to back it up- this is still a fun topic! So, if the facts are a bit skewed… who cares! Carpe Diem!

According to sources found, women state they can tell if a relationship is going to work or not by that first kiss. I’m going to chime in and validate that has been my experience. I will never forget the” first kiss from the last person I would ever kiss” My hubby. We have been together almost 30 years and the first kiss we had in his car in my back alley(lol) is a fresh now as it was then. Up until that point, I had never had a kiss that stole my breath, made my heart skip a beat and made me weak. Fireworks, explosions et all.
His words to me “Man, can you kiss.” My response wasn’t as pleasant I’m afraid to say. I actually told him “If he did that again, I would slap him”
See, that kiss scared the sh*t out of me… it was a kiss right out of a bloody harlequin romance novel and an immediate connection on a soul level; Incredible and scary at the same time. I knew at that moment, I had met my one and only and I wasn’t quite sure I was ready for that. Obviously, it all went according to the universe’s plan as we are still kissing like crazy almost 30 years later.
